Dr. Joseph Broujerdi is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon sub-specializing in Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery. He is double board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Graduates of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, 
recipient of the Henry M. Goldman award and State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Science Center Medical School.
Dr. Broujerdi’s training include Craniofacial/Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center/Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto California, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit Michigan, General Surgery and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn New York.
Furthermore, he also has sub-specialized in obstructive sleep-apnea surgery. He performs the most complex surgeries including moving upper and lower jaws forward to create more airway space for air exchange during sleep. He is the medical director of the obstructive sleep apnea surgery program at Olympia Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Broujerdi is active in covering new developments in the field of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, contributed to peer-reviewed journals, and co-authored a book chapter on Maxillofacial Surgery. He has given presentations and spoken at national and international conferences. He is active in clinical research projects and teaching continuing education courses.
In addition to his extensive experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures, Dr. Broujerdi has devoted his own time and resources to medical missions in third-world countries, reconstructing pediatric patients with congenital anomalies and traumatic deformities, including cleft lip and cleft palate, and burn victims.
Dr. Broujerdi's practice’s main focus is maxillofacial surgery with the addition of providing aesthetic surgery services as well. He transfers his knowledge and experience in reconstructive surgery to cosmetic surgery. We use the latest innovations, technology and safest techniques.
Dr. Broujerdi works very closely with numerous referring physicians, dentists and other plastic surgeons in the metropolitan area. Our staff is highly trained motivated professionals. The team includes; treatment coordinator, patient care supervisor, certified plastic surgery nurse, aestheticians and practice manager.
